Become a Teacher

Whenever you learn a new skill that enriches your life, it’s natural to want to share it with others. Teachers of the Transcendental Meditation program have mastered the knowledge, skills, and experience required to teach the technique to others and provide follow-up support to their students.

Teacher Training Course

The six-month Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Course provides career training for those who are dedicated to their own practice of meditation, have a sincere desire to help others, and are committed to improving the quality of life for their community and the world.

Course participants gain in-depth knowledge of the profound principles of Maharishi Vedic Science^SM, benefit from extended periods of meditation, and become custodians of this ancient tradition of Vedic knowledge.

Graduates of the courses are qualified to:

• Lecture on the Transcendental Meditation program
• Teach the Transcendental Meditation technique to others
• Provide Personal Checking of meditation
• Prepare and give Advanced Lectures
• Lead Weekend Residence Courses
• Coordinate related Maharishi Vedic Science programs, including programs for Vedic Health, Vedic Education, and Vedic Architecture
• Help organize construction of a Maharishi Peace Palace in their city
