What Meditators Say
“I am comfortable and secure within myself, no matter what is happening around me, and because of that my effectiveness has multiplied many times. There is no amount of money for which I would give up all I have gained from this remarkably simple practice. It is a priceless treasure.”
—Jonathon D. Levy, Assistant Dean,
School of Industrial and Labor Relations, Cornell University
I can honestly say TM is the greatest investment I could have ever made in myself. In my daily life and work I have experienced endless intellectual growth, inner development, clarity of mind, and expanded consciousness. Every day is an amazing journey. Learn TM and start living and appreciating life as it was meant to be!
—Valerie Gottfried, art teacher, advertising artist
I’ve been practicing TM since I was 16—over 30 years. From the moment I first learned, I knew it was something I would do for my entire life. We forget that to enjoy life to its fullest, we must radiate happiness from within, regardless of outer circumstances. TM turns that inner light on, and it just has gotten brighter for me as the years have passed. I can’t think of anything I have done throughout my life that has been more valuable.
—Bob LoPinto, investment manager
“In 1972 I came home from nineteen months in Viet Nam with the same stressed-out body that we observe in so many combat vets. A friend took me to a lecture on the Transcendental Meditation program, and I learned immediately. Within the first three weeks of meditating, I could feel major changes happening in my mind and body. After two years, it seemed clear that the war was behind me and I could actually discuss my experiences without the usual reactive patterns of anger, fear, night sweats and nightmares.
“I was so impressed that I decided to become a teacher of the Transcendental Meditation technique myself. Now I help other veterans who are going through the same stress-related traumas. I feel TM has saved my life, and it’s been an essential part of my daily routine. It keeps me charged with energy and on the razor’s edge of my mind.”
