In the United States, the Transcendental Meditation technique is taught through the Maharishi Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Maharishi Foundation certified teachers of the TM technique not only have many years of experience practicing the technique, they have also successfully completed an intensive 5 month in-residence Teacher Training Course, developed by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, founder of the TM program, and maintain their certification through ongoing professional courses for TM teachers.
Only by learning the Transcendental Meditation program from a Maharishi Foundation certified teacher can you be assured of receiving the authentic Transcendental Meditation technique and gaining access to all the advanced programs of knowledge and experience that have been structured for your benefit by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.
Paula has been practicing the Transcendental Meditation technique since 1973, and teaching the technique since 1977. Most recently Paula taught TM in Missoula, Montana, her hometown, before relocating to Baltimore in April of 2013, to become the Director of the Baltimore TM program. Paula loves being outdoors, especially hiking in the mountains. She also enjoys Yoga and Pilates. Her hobbies include organic gardening, baking, and reading Sanskrit.
“We all start TM for different reasons. Whether you want to reduce high blood pressure, gain relief from anxiety, depression, insomnia, or just want more pep in your step, the TM technique will enliven your body’s healing mechanisms, bringing greater balance. The result is relief from fatigue and stress, and more enjoyment in all you do.”
