Laurina Carroll is the director of the Transcendental Meditation program for the Chicago Suburbs. She has been practicing the TM technique for 24 years, and teaching it for the past 14. She is also an Ayurveda health educator specializing in holistic lifestyle management. Laurina holds a B.A. in Ayurvedic Medicine and an M.A. in Maharishi Vedic Science from Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa. She teaches the TM technique to families, health professionals, and business persons, but especially enjoys teaching it to school children. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, writing, and staying physically fit through sports and exercise.

Bolton Carroll, a Winnetka, Illinois native, is the co-director of the Transcendental Meditation program for the Chicago suburbs. He learned the TM technique over thirty years ago while an undergraduate at Harvard, at a time when many of the university?s researchers were conducting pioneering studies on the effects of the TM technique. Soon thereafter he became a teacher of the TM program, and later received his M.B.A. from Maharishi University of Management in Iowa. He currently works as a senior computer consultant, and enjoys reading, tennis, and other sports.
