Bill Rist

Bill has been practicing the Transcendental Meditation technique since 1972, and teaching the technique since 1976. He received a B.S.E.E. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and worked in the engineering field before going on to gain a M.B.A. also from U.C. Berkeley. Bill enjoys hiking, sailing, and reading.

Joan Rist

Joan has been practicing the Transcendental Meditation technique since 1972, and teaching the technique since 1975. She received a B.A. degree in Music from University of California, Riverside and a teaching credential from University of California, Irvine. She taught in elementary school for several years until deciding to become a teacher of the Transcendental Meditation program. Joan enjoys hiking, swimming, playing piano, cooking and being with family and friends. She is currently Director of the New Hampshire Transcendental Meditation program.

Kim Sands

Kim learned the Transcendental Technique in 1971. She became a teacher of TM in 1973 under the direction of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Since that time she has earned both a Bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Masters in The Science of Creative Intelligence from Maharishi International University. She also holds a Masters degree in Consumer Economics from the University of Iowa where she was elected to the both the Phi Epsilon Omicron and Omicron Nu Honor Societies. Her love of the outdoors has brought her to New Hampshire where she has lived for over ten years.
