In the United States, the Transcendental Meditation technique is taught through the Maharishi Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Maharishi Foundation certified teachers of the TM technique not only have many years of experience practicing the technique, they have also successfully completed an intensive 5 month in-residence Teacher Training Course, developed by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, founder of the TM program, and maintain their certification through ongoing professional courses for TM teachers.
Only by learning the Transcendental Meditation program from a Maharishi Foundation certified teacher can you be assured of receiving the authentic Transcendental Meditation technique and gaining access to all the advanced programs of knowledge and experience that have been structured for your benefit by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.
Regine de Toledo learned Transcendental Meditation in 1970 while attending the Rhode Island School of Design. She started teaching TM in 1973 in the New York area while pursuing a career as a designer and art director at major publishing companies. She now owns a graphic design business and is the director of the St. Augustine TM Program.
“I am passionate about many worthy causes but the work is often challenging with many setbacks. By contrast, teaching TM is always rewarding. Our students’ progress is rapid, steady and permanent. Many reach their goals of mental clarity, stress reduction and inner happiness right away. TM works. This is the way to change the world.”
Richard Pinto received his Master of Education degree from the University of Florida in 1974 and taught TM in Gainesville. In addition to his current TM teaching activities, Richard has owned and operated retail and wholesale businesses in St. Augustine since 1980.
“I enjoy teaching the TM Program, knowing that as each individual grows with the practice, so also does society benefit.”
