The importance of learning from a Certified Teacher

While there are many practices described by the word “meditation,” the
Transcendental Meditation technique is distinct from all other meditation practices,
and is the only program whose benefits have been verified by over 600 scientific
research studies. more

In the United States, the Transcendental Meditation technique is taught through the Maharishi Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Maharishi Foundation certified teachers of the TM technique not only have many years of experience practicing the technique, they have also successfully completed an intensive 5 month in-residence Teacher Training Course, developed by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, founder of the TM program, and maintain their certification through ongoing professional courses for TM teachers.

Only by learning the Transcendental Meditation program from a Maharishi Foundation certified teacher can you be assured of receiving the authentic Transcendental Meditation technique and gaining access to all the advanced programs of knowledge and experience that have been structured for your benefit by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

“I feel very fortunate to have learned TM so early in life. I am even more fortunate to be able to teach others this simple and effortless technique to experience the silent, yet exhilarating realization of the growth of consciousness which occurs through its regular practice. When that experience dawns, one enjoys the realization that individual life, like all of Nature, grows toward greater happiness, achievement and fulfillment.”
