Sonette Steyn

Sonette Steyn is the Director of the Santa Fe Transcendental Meditation Program. She learned the TM technique in 1982 and became a TM teacher in 1983. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and History from the University of South Africa, as well as a B.A. in Creative Writing from the College of Santa Fe. She has taught accounting and economics to high school students in South Africa and in the U.K., and is a published poet. Along with teaching the TM program, she is currently pursuing a B.A. in Studio Arts/New Media as well as a Business Certificate from the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe.
