The importance of learning from a Certified Teacher

Only certified TM teachers can provide instruction in the authentic Transcendental Meditation technique.

In the U.S., the certification of TM teachers is available exclusively from Maharishi Foundation USA, a federally-recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization. Certified TM teachers have successfully completed an intensive 5-month in-residence Teacher Training Course, and they maintain their certification through ongoing professional courses for TM teachers.

In 1976, Denny began working full time on International Staff of the TM organization, and after a 7 year Teacher Training Program became a TM teacher in 1984. After traveling the world teaching and co-organizing TM programs, he received his Honorary Doctorate degree in World Peace in 2005 and continues to teach full time in the Northwest and in California. Denny is Co-Director of the Transcendental Meditation Program in West Los Angeles.

“I’m more impressed every day, even after almost 40 years of practicing the TM technique, how easy and effortless the process is! I’m in awe how inner and outer nature blend together creating even more fulfillment with every meditation. The age old adage that ‘Life is meant to suffer’ is replaced with ‘The nature of Life is bliss’.”
