Annie has taught Transcendental Meditation since 1977 after learning the technique herself in 1974. She finds it such a joy helping people reach their full potential through TM. She has seen so many people over the years benefit from their practice within the first few days and then enjoy the inner peace, happiness and dynamism that comes from regular TM. She finds it inspirational. Rendlesham has been her and her husband John's home since 2008. She and her colleagues in 'TM Suffolk' teach TM covering the whole of Suffolk, including Norwich. She started teaching in Central London then Hertfordshire, Cumbria, Kent, Bristol including three years in Australia. With her husband John, she then spent 27 years closely involved with the TM community project in Skelmersdale, West Lancs where she taught TM and raised their three children, all of whom went to the Maharishi School. On moving to Rendlesham two of her three children went to Farlingaye school in Woodbridge followed by university whilst the older one became a doctor. Annie and John helped establish a community project with others including a residential Retreat centre (where she organised TM Retreats and Events), an Ayurvedic Centre and 60 Vastu dwellings designed according to the ancient system of Vedic Architecture. Rendlesham is now a major hub for TM in the UK and she and her husband find great fulfilment living and working here.
