Liz Court learned the Transcendental Meditation technique in 1967 and gained so much from the practice that in January 1970, she travelled to Rishikesh, India, to train under Maharishi Mahesh Yogi to become a TM teacher. On returning from India, she taught in Watford, then started the Harrow Centre. When she returned from working for Maharishi in Europe at his invitation, she taught in Guildford and then started the Hampshire Centre.

She describes it as a privilege to be a TM teacher—passing on the knowledge of the Transcendental Meditation technique, which she learned directly from Maharishi—and finds great joy to see the positive changes that take place in students. Her passion for teaching remains strong, and she continues to guide new meditators and run the Hampshire Centre, marking over five decades of dedicated service.
