Charles Watkins learned the TM technique in 1971 while completing his BS Marketing degree at Indiana State University. In January 1973, he traveled to La Antilla, Spain, for his TM Teacher training with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

He returned to Indianapolis in May 1973 and has taught the TM technique to over 1500 people during the last 50 years. Teaching the TM technique and traveling throughout Indiana, alongside his leadership role as director of the Indianapolis TM Center, has brought peace, inner fulfillment, and release of stress and tension to many.

Charles has also owned and operated several businesses in his career, alongside teaching the TM technique to the public.

He currently lives and teaches in Indianapolis as a certified TM teacher.
