Craig began practicing Transcendental Meditation (TM) in 1969 and, within a year, felt called to become a teacher and meet Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. He completed TM Teacher Training in Mallorca, Spain, and was certified by Maharishi in 1971.

Craig helped establish the first TM Center in the San Fernando Valley in 1975.  He later attended the TM-Sidhi program in 1979. Alongside his TM teaching, Craig spent 38 years as a high school teacher for darkroom photography and wood shop courses.

He taught and participated in the activities at the San Fernando Valley center for many years and, in 2021, began teaching at the Los Feliz Center. Today, he remains deeply active in the TM community, leading individual and group meditations, Siddha meditations, TM retreats, and Bhagavad-Gita study groups.

Craig especially enjoys helping his students experience greater calm, reduce stress and anxiety, enjoy life more fully, and expand their awareness. He considers teaching TM one of the most meaningful and fulfilling activities of his life.
