Rita has taught Transcendental Meditation in New York City since 2011. Her work includes teaching veterans at NYC VA hospitals, survivors of domestic violence at the NYC Family Justice Center, and participants in the Crime Victim Treatment Programs through Mt. Sinai Morningside Hospital. Rita holds a degree from Maharishi International University, and for 22 years was a member of an international women’s community dedicated to extended practice of TM and its advanced programs. She has helped more than 2,700 people learn TM in NYC. She enjoys exploring students’ questions, from practical to profound.
