Emily became a TM teacher following a 25-year career in education in New York City, where her roles included math and dance teacher, Director of School Culture, and Northeast Regional Program Director. She also served as a CUNY professor and D.O.E. consultant. Teaching TM, leading retreats, and supporting students in their practice have been the most fulfilling work of her career. Emily holds degrees from the University of Maryland, Brooklyn College and NYU. She loves time with family, Caribbean and African dance, and adventures in nature.
