Lucinda Abbe learned the TM technique in 1968 while studying art at the Rhode Island School of Design. In 1971 and 1972 she traveled to Mallorca, Spain, for her TM Teacher training with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, returning to New Hope, Pennsylvania to teach for many years. The last 30 years she has lived in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where she has a career in art, as well as teaching the TM technique and acting as director of the TM Center serving western Wyoming and Eastern Idaho.

As a landscape painter, Lucinda has a passion for the beauty of nature; as a teacher of the TM technique, she loves introducing people to their own inner nature, the ‘Self,’ where one discovers a reservoir of peace, inner strength, and happiness.
